Game aborted mid-game???

Just happened to me too. They were playing a gambit I’ve seen before from an Eric Rosen video. So I played into it until right before the critical move and instead played the best move that gave me a much better position. A couple of seconds passed after my move and then the game aborted?!? I can’t even find the game on my list of recent games?! It’s as if the player disappeared. Their name was a bunch of random characters like “Dpk52784” or something. This is either hacking or an incredibly bad exploit that needs to be addressed ASAP. I submitted a report so hopefully Chess.com staff can look into it.
So annoying...I hope someone addresses this issue!

Based on the time you posted the topic, and other similar topics around the same time, the Live server was restarted. When that happens, all ongoing games are aborted.

It is because the website restarted
or the tournament ended
How can a player do that? And not lose points? Just happened to me?
