Game explorer weirdness

I was a bit baffled when game explorer returned Bukacek Emil (AUT) - Albert Garrote Amadeo (ESP) (1969.08.12) for this position.  The linked game doesn't contain this position, which is a bit confusing.  The linked game does include the moves which have reached the position I'm searched for - but because they happen later in the game, the effect is pretty different.

Is the game explorer meant to work in this way or is this a bug?  Perhaps it's just me, but the behaviour seems pretty counter-intuitive.  I'd always assumed that when I click "explore" in my online games, I was getting games which contain the current position, or set of moves, but it appears I'm actually getting games which contain the same moves but in any order.  It might be better if the results were marked in some way as not containing the position being shown on the explorer board.

The View all games from current position link does do exactly what I'd expect, which makes me think that maybe this behaviour is deliberate, even though I find it surprising - I'd previously thought that link was a bit redundant, as I thought the page was already showing games from the current position.

Apologies if this is explained somewhere obvious that I have somehow missed.

I've only come across this problem once and I just put it down to some sort of transpositional glitch.
