Meh.
Another original topic.
So since you were part of the other thread started by another angry young man this is like irony? Or is it parody? I obviously wasn't an English Lit major...

Tragedy. Note the OP's hubris.
These people who post about these simple etiquette issues are so lame. It's internet chess. Who cares what he says or that he doesn't play you again? Grow the heck up.
These people who cluelessly respond to satirical posts are so lame. It's internet forum. Who cares what he satirically says? Grow the heck up.
That was satire? Completely feeble. There is no irony there - it just looks like dozens of other stupid threads and is a waste of everyone's time.

What's feeble is you not realizing that what makes it satire is PRECISELY because it looks like dozens of other stupid threads. And what should have made you realize it's satire is that it's just different enough, combining 3 of the most common and feeble complaints (GG, refusing rematches, and disconnecting).
Meanwhile, back to the topic of the thread.
I don't see the problem with saying GG whether someone's won or lost. It means just what is says. Good game, i.e. that person enjoyed the game. Simple no?
As for not wanting to rematch. In my opinion, they may have felt "lucky" to have won and don't want to push their luck a second time around.
I'm unable to see why you're so upset about it.

Either this is satire or you're an idiot.
I lost a game and my opponent said GG. How dare he: I had him beat, it was pure luck for him. So I requested a rematch, and you know what he did: he refused by disconnecting.
Why does chess.com let members get away with such outrageous behavior?
A better question would be, "Why are there so many cry babies on chess.com.?

Meh, you're just angry. Take a few breaths before you write emails. You'll save yourself embarassment. It's best just to be thought of as a fool rather than open your mouth and confirm it.

So it wasn't satire and you are an idiot? I'm not calling you one, I'm trying to throw you a lifeline.

Yeah it was. I was laughing before reading the second post. Besides, why a duck?
blumzovich, not everybody is reading every single post in a thread before they reply to it ... doesn't make them idiots, just lazy.
Are you guys kidding me? He mixed like 6 topics into one and stripped out the extra nonsense to show a bare ridiculous position. I didn't think he was serious for a second. It was pretty funny.
Unskilled Player usually only rely on the quality of the internet connection as a means of gaining victory (won on time). He played without a strategy, moving carelessly, the important thing is the speed, in order to take advantage from the allocation of time. This type of player is called Time Player. They would be willing to accept your offer of a rematch, if you move slow, inaccurate and suffers severely lagging.
Instead, they will refuse, if you are considered to be strong and fast player. Disclaimer carried out through a variety of ways, one of which is to ignore your challenge or accidentally disconnected (offline). Time player is definitely a runner and they deserve to be called coward!
They played for a primary purpose that is to get points and then ran away. They have principles : "Win is Win, Hit and Run".
