good game & was a good sport... placebo?

I click "was a good sport" on everyone unless they're truly terrible. most of the time i don't accept chats, so I basically click good sport like 99.9 percent of the time. And along with that i click good game.   I haven't seen anyone else tell me good game. Am I the only one on here doing this? do those buttons do literally anything at all?

The silence is deafening. So I get it--they're just for decoration & meaningless.

That is disappointing

This is the jungle. I spend 75% of my time getting my fingers smashed in the car door. If someone says good game or good luck I will respond.. otherwise, I will never initiate even to say something nice. And any taunting even good natured like the 😴 face I will not respond. Don't wanna deal with it.

Not many people bother to chat or even say gg

jimburnetto

yeah i don't bother to chat like 99% of the time just because it's just so disappointing when people are rude. But there are literal buttons that say "was a good sport" and "say good game" right?
What do they do? I click them almost every game. I'm assuming that other people, at least a couple other people do this too. I have never noticed anyone saying "good game" or any kind of a notification that they clicked the "was a good sport" button.
I have had the thing where it says 'bob wants to chat' and then you accept and you can read it and it says 'gg' or more often they're just wanting to be a jerk. but that is different right?
I get how the "was a good sport" button might be a hidden thing to help mods. but the "Say good game" button? That should literally show the other person :
jimburnetto says "good game"
But it seemingly does nothing.
