the bad news is we lost group forum posts due to some database optimizations.
the good news is we have backups.
the bad news is that we will still lose ~12 hours of group forum posts.
the good news is that we're sorry.
the bad news is that "sorry" doesn't make the forum posts reappear.
the good news is there is more to life than forum posts.
the bad news is that some people will still be angry.
the good news is that those people can get help.

I think that is the post of the day/night if not week.
In each thread in my groups, only the original post remains. When this is resolved, will our replies return or do we start from scratch? Better yet, I can send you a list of topics that you 'couldn't recover despite your best efforts.'
