Which would be a decent guess, actually. The actual rating is probably lower, but White sure played like a 2900. That was a stunning game. Probably the best game they ever played.

how the white op was so terrible it confused me the blunder on the queen and knight was

shambolic if white knew what he was doing he would have played the Yugoslav attack or the English attack id  think a near 3000 would know how to play against the Sicilian if white was unsure about playing against the Sicilian he would of played much more passively the only thing i could praise white for was castling queen side the success full queen side storm and using the bishop pair well

XDutiful274

y so high dont u see the queen blunder

XDutiful274

a 2k would not blunder like that

XDutiful274

and the knight blunder

XDutiful274

white was down a piece from a knight blunder the last thing u want to do is trade especially a late game important piece

PootisEngageExtremeHeavy

Thats Why I Feel Like its around the >1000 Range cause I Feel Like i seen this game before.

XDutiful274

1000 to high for kinght blunders and a 1000 would know not to trade when a piece down

PootisEngageExtremeHeavy

Yeah True, I Feel Like it would be below the 750 Range. Cause I Feel Like I Seen This Game Before.

XDutiful274

exactly

PootisEngageExtremeHeavy

Lol that "knight blunder" was the top Stockfish move, and is actually a pretty thematic sacrifice in the Sicilian (perhaps best-known in Smith-Morra lines). The point is that you open the e-file and thus keep the king in the centre for the time being (because if your opponent castles, they will lose the bishop on e7) while the opponent is severely underdeveloped, allowing you to launch an attack. In this case, you also get two pawns for the piece on top of the usual advantages, which is what makes it a particularly sound sacrifice.

And the "queen blunder" wasn't Stockfish's top choice but still made a lot of sense ─ you're removing both of Black's only defenders of the king (the queen doesn't protect the king because it's prone to being attacked herself), making your already monstrous bishop pair completely dominant by breaking apart your opponent's bishop pair, and leave the king utterly exposed, all at the cost of just one point of material.

"if white knew what he was doing he would have played the Yugoslav attack"

You can't play the Yugoslav against anything but the various variations of the Dragon lol. White knew exactly what they were doing.

"id  think a near 3000 would know how to play against the Sicilian"

Yeah, both players demonstrated an understanding of how to play the Sicilian. You, on the other hand, obviously have no idea how the Sicilian works. Which is fair enough, given that you're only 700, but I don't understand why you're trying to pretend you know anything about it lol.

PootisEngageExtremeHeavy

Well as a 200-300 Elo idek what you said yet i feel like even I wouldn't do that though,

If your guess is within 1000 points of the correct rating, I will mail you both of my kidneys and then sell my house and send you the money I get from it on top of that.

XDutiful274

know the i see it  from ur point i understand the game much better i still do think the queen sacrifice was a little to dramatic just to remove a king defender and the knight sac too because the king already castle and prep for late game the late game pawns are taken out pretty fast if left unguarded
