Hacking? Cheating?

How many times have you run into people that can turn off auto-resign or make your clock run but you still can’t move? I have run into this and other clear signs of hacking. Why is it so petty? Do they plan to get their butt kicked during a real game? Gee, look at my score! It’s from cheating!

Never. Your opponents can't impact your connection or your clocks. Not van they turn off automatic resignation.

The two clients never connect directly to each other so your opponents can't access any of your connection details. Also, the live server process handles all traffic between clients, only sending the moves, official clock times, and chat messages.

If you're seeing issues, it's due to lag, either network or client based or disconnects unrelated to your opponent.
