Has anybody tried...

...running a straight knockout tournament. I was thinking of having a 64 player tornament with 32 pairings. I assume that if you have groups of 2, you still play 2 matches rather than just 1. In the case of games being drawn 1-1 will the tie break system still work?

There has been many tournaments like these.

In cases of 1-1 both players advance.

Hi Shonbo. I think you can do the groups bigger. Maybe 6-8 players. So the tournament will finish fast and you will do another. 3 day per movie will  be enough.

4.2 seconds after this tournament starts 2 things will happen:

1. Someone will whine there opponent is taking to long to move

2. Someone will accuse someone of cheating.
