Truly? I'd be devastated(did I spell that right?) This is the ONLY site for chess that I come to and really the only reason why I use the internet, especially lately. I get the shakes just thinking about that happening

Very. Out of all the Chess sites I've seen on the internet this is the only one with a layout I find acceptable. 

I would certainly love to see more Masters on live chess..when I first came on I was glued to the master games and downloaded the PGNs..talk about a trifle obsessive lol

oh, that would be so so so bad for me!!! the only option is "very," but i could use a stronger formulation. like the "devastated" suggested by chessmarksthespot, that seems about right.

David..I figured that would hit the spot. Erik is going to make me more paranoid than I already am thinking about this. I'm going to need a tranquilizer now

All I can say is I would be exTREMEly upset. I've barely had time to truly tap into all the learning resources in here, but I plan to, and I sign on, first thing, EVERY day---this site's already a habit! lol And it would be truly DEVASTATING for my boyfriend! (Can you guess who he is? lol) He's grown quite attached!

Yup, that's me. I just can't think of my life without this place. I don't want to seem overdramatic but I count on this site and all of its info for improving my game, as I'm sure a ton of people do.

 Losing chess.com would wield a heavy blow. I haven't seen many sites as well designed as this. I am digging the social atmosphere here. Not to mention that the graphics are aesthetically pleasing...at least to my eyes.

Erik, If chess.com goes down, I will sue you for all ur pennies worth. ... so better redouble ur efforts to make it say afloat.
