I have been playing chess for around 4 or 5 months now and I watch youtube videos to learn openings , tactics and other things. But my rating is still hovering around 600 and I have no clue how to make it higher ,although I actually play a lot (around 4-6 games daily at least)
so I was wondering how to be better , how good is a my rating(613) and what level am I in (beginner , intermediate, etc )?
note that I managed to beat every bot(free bots) up to nelson (the guy who attacks with queen right away)
please answer me
and thank you very much

It looks like you only started playing actively at the end of September. 600 is perhaps an advanced beginner level. There are certainly many millions of worse players here.

I think that the main tool for progress is analysis. Do you analyze the games you lost afterwards to see where you went wrong? It looks like you mainly use the computer to look at the games you won.

I think that playing bots is not very helpful because you can rely on them to make big mistakes.

This is from a game played yesterday.

How could you have even considered playing e5 here?

That poor pawn was attacked three times and was completely undefended.

Do you try to figure what your opponent will do if you make a certain move?

Or this position, where you just hung your queen.  It was safe where it started (e7). There were only two squares (d7 and e8) you could move your queen to where it wouldn't get taken by a lesser piece. However, neither d7 nor e8 offered any prospects.

Therefore, you had to find another piece to move first.

It is clear that you have no system for evaluating moves.

The site offers good lessons for beginners. You should take advantage of them.

The first step is to avoid horrible blunders, like in the example above where you just hung your queen. This is the only important thing, nothing else matters.

The way to do it is to think about your moves. Don't just play the first random legal move that comes to mind.

Youtube videos are pathetic learning, and most of the times they include crappy content which is picked not to educate, but to attract kids, many kids, and eventually $$$.

You may argue that a lot of books and online courses are also crappy stuff which is authored to attract kids and eventually $$$, but you can find many excellent educational books (and courses, although they are fewer).

I hate to analyze my loses, but to be honest, most times you learn a lot from your loses than your wins
