Only the blessed Knight can toy with their opponent like a cat with a half-dead mouse. ![]()
Behold move 23. Rf7!!! as here enters the most vicious move I have ever seen! ![]()
Fascinating and BOLD game!! Can you explain what you mean by "magical Bayonet", please? I want to understand the visual interpretation. Thank you!!

When I was little we use to see the "adventures of Sindbad the sailor" cartoons and there was an episode where a king's legs were petrified by an evil sorcerer.
I have played the game since, well, since ever, never ever seen any other opening display the frequent potency of freeze the entire kingside pieces as seen in the games I exhibited at this thread! That is kind of magical! 🪄
@OCTOPUS_d6 first of all thank you for your kindness. Much respect my friend!
With regards to the Bc8 move it looks a little passive, quite frankly. I have faced Bd7 on some occasions, however this is maybe the only game I remember that the opponent brings bishop back to c8.
Another Bayonet game that I played yesterday with a commanding position was this one: https://www.chess.com/game/live/167186116750
However due to fatigue, as I played this game at well past my bed time, I blundered and squandered this sweet game. Everything was going after plan and I knew in my heart that I should play Rh3 on move 17, (have learned this move from engine analysis, and it is such a good even if it looks counterintuitive) And I also deviated from one of my golden rules that says: "Not to take pieces that are already trapped ". I should have not taken that freaking rook at that moment in the game.
