Whether I win or lose horribly, I always leave a thumbs up and a good game If I am using the web browser (no clue how to leave a good game on the phone app). I think it probably hurt his pride more than this flagging thing.

flagging refers to winning on time, where the flag on the analog chess clock drops. however complaining to the arbiter behind your opponent (or online) sounds good too.
