Question: What does it mean when the following contiinues to come up: "...game aborted by the server" soon as another player accepts my challenge to play. Is there a number or way of communicating with the powers that be to undo this so that I can play some matches?
Did you watch the tutorial when picking your game type??
Okay, since I submitted the ticket and was told it will be taken care of in 24 hours, no response has been made yet. I think, since the user is a premium one, the staff won't take any action against him. This is really bad.
No that's not true. All premium members would use money as an excuse to abuse all kinds of things. It will take a day or so, but that's a auto responce. Keep the ticket # handy, just in case.

Your EXACTLY right, weekends, holiday, heavy traffic patterns on the forums, mods on vacation or sick leave, IT problems, even California having bad weather. But don't get discouraged, they usually answer 9 out of 10 tickets within 24 hrs. Its a tournament issue, so they'll look at it.
That's the main reason I don't enter a tournament with vacation ability. Its "no vacation" tournaments for me.

Thanks for writing in. I do apologize for the delay, but it does appear that the user hasn't accessed the site since February 1st. I don't know why exactly he hasn't been able to access the site, but because he isn't using his vacation to stall one game (or all of his games for that matter), this isn't actually vacation abuse.
I am confused. 
Actually you shouldn't be because, they can confirm that he is not taking vacation time, and leaving you in limbo. But WHY, he hasn't played in 6 weeks, I don't know.
It's his issues, none of my business. If everyone resigns, technically he wins all the games and he wil be the one to advance. What about the top guy who played so well?

DON'T RESIGN; Tell the other players, in a private message, to send in tickets, and you want to know what chess.com can do about it.
Okay, sent a message to the group's topper. Let's see what happens. Will keep this thread updated.
If resigning won't help, then I don't know what to tell you. Vacation could be abused, but then there may have been a death in the family.
