If that is what it takes to take a stand against being called a complete and utter twit, then yes.
I am not just gonna lay down while I watch people do stuff like that to me. Blocking is a feature in many social and semi-social sites, not just chess.com, and I reserve the right to use it.
It's not like there haven't been any hurt/heal threads here other than this one.

your is different, you actually naming and shaming in a way, which is against the TOS.
I have talked about that, and it's because I haven't read the TOS so I wasn't aware of that rule. What he said however, is completely inexcusable.
