impressive, i can barely defeat the 1000 bots (every time) ;-;

It is mostly practice and improving by playing chess against people, chess opening principles helps a ton against bots too:

Cool @DarkNightK1 happy.png that chess book is where I originally saw this game too happy.png

I don't typically recommend chess "opening books" because theory changes (sometimes massively!) and whatever opening book one selects has a very real chance of soon becoming outdated, if not already. Chess authors know this, but there are still many chess opening books out there because titled chess players very rarely make a full-time income on chess alone, so they need to supplement with things like coaching or writing books.

In most cases, you are better off buying a chess book on strategy/learning than about opening(s). The exception is maybe one or two opening books if you use the opening a ton like how I play the Queen's Gambit a lot.

Schandorff's book is great, but most opening books don't stand the test of time, so at least be wary when buying a chess book happy.png
