If I lose all my games

If I lose all the tournament games I'm playing right now, and perhaps end up with a zero rating, will ever hear the end of it?

I ask this because one guy has been gone for over two years, and people are still talking about his zero rating.

I guess I'll take this silence to mean no.

 What's the big deal about 1000 anyway?

Sounds like Lenny Bongcloud.  I remember back in the day I even had the honor of playing against the man himself in a 'bongcloud invitational' tournament.

But on topic, I think it'll take more than just losing some tournaments to get a 0 rating.  It'll take like, months and months of concentrated effort.

I forget if he ever got down the whole way to 0.  Well... if it wasn't him it was some other guy

Oh man!  How did I forget... I was his 'best win' at one point.  When I was around 1400 (? forget) or so I challenged him to a game and resigned after playing about 5 moves.  He was not happy.

 It's obvious he was losing on purpose in the games I looked at. Strange.

WHY.......... do you want a zero rating
