If somoene rematches' you, should you accept it?

Well i'm the idiot cuz womp womp u lose, who am? Magnus?

Nonono,
never accept rematches. You won fair and square (hopefully) and have proven yourself to be better than them.
Plus most of the time they'll be super mad and probably go full power and whatever and I usually lose on rematches, so like it's in your best interest not to.

Sometimes, you just want to move on to a fresh game. A rematch can feel like an obligation rather than an opportunity.

Or cheat

I agree it's the only sportsmanlike thing to do. If you beat the person once shouldn't you be able to do it again? I don't agree with the argument "I like playing new people," either because if it's your first time playing against someone you've only played against them with one color so it could be a totally different game depending on the openings you play. I never offer rematches when I win but I always accept them. If I lose I would hope my opponent has the decency to rematch me at least one time if they don't and go play someone else instead I feel like it's just them being a lame.

Yes of course. Why wouldn't you?
It'ss a long game, your'e tired You've got other things to do.
There are thousands of other plays you can play with.
Yeah totally if you are tired and ready to not play anymore that's a legit reason but if people refuse a rematch and then instead go and play someone else I think it's lame and not good sportsmanship.
If I have been chatting with them and they seem like decent folk, then yes.
I have been burned too many times accepting otherwise as suddenly the person, "for reasons", suddenly becomes incredibly good the next game.
I don't accept them because people rematch when they lost and they are most likely mad. They could've pulled a nest best chess move calculator, you never know.
