Sure Again, please submit by email as well.
I wish you would run one for losing streaks as well because that would be the only competition I could possibly win.
lol! same!

chesspathways.com is not a competitor to chess.com. chess.com allows bloggers to promote their own personal websites with coaching services, etc as long as they aren't linking to competitors. If chess.com administrators have a problem with anything I'm doing, they'll be the ones to contact me - not you.
If you don't want the chance to win a fun prize for playing blitz for free that's your choice

I do not see any other member advertising their personal websites in the public forums. Question is, are the forums a place for it? What if every coach, streamer, blogger did as such ? Coaches advertise on the designated pages.
This is a fact. If I were to advertise another website of ANY nature, it would be blocked/deleted. It is not permitted as I read the TOS. You seem to be allowed/given extra latitude, because of status, being also a paying subscriber. We all know double standards exist. This is exactly why I no longer pay for the services.
2ndly. I oppose offering $ to hobby chess players. Free games are available everywhere. Offering $ is against the spirit of chess for players seeking free games. This is my opinion from 50+ years of experience. As I see it, it is nothing more than a promotional "gimmick" advertising your services, that in the end, will be charging a fee.
I have seen this exact same promotion on other chess sites. You are advertising a business for profit.

Perhaps I am mistaken. You have shown the way for all coaches and bloggers to advertise their wares. Perhaps CC does not have an issue with paid members advertising their web sites in the forums. We might now see the forums flooded with such. Why not. It is the most visible at login. Hit the suckers right off the bat. Every post in your "thread" jumps it to the top recognized. Simple job.
I thought perhaps an explanation was available. Something along the lines of Nepotism, explaining why you are the ONLY blogger permitted to advertise his wares in Chess Community discussion.
Hey everyone! A site I run, chesspathways.com, is hosting an online "BLITZ STREAK CHALLENGE" over the course of the next month. We're giving away a $25 Amazon Gift Card to whoever amasses the longest online blitz winning streak among our members, and it's totally free to join. More prizes may be added depending on participation.
If you sign up on our site, just let me know whenever you achieve a blitz winning streak online of 5 games or more, and I'll add you to our leaderboard! Note that you have to be signed up at our site before you achieve the winning streak, so don't miss out! You'll also get a free "Move by Move Guide to Chess Thinking" when you sign up.
A full list of rules is available on request, but the basics are:
Good luck everyone! I look forward to seeing who can get the longest streak.
