Drink lots of coffee.

Learn a little about openings and a lot about tactics.

Be comfortable defending somebody’s ’suicide Queen’ opening.

Play slow games, like 30-30 or 15|10.

Have someone gift you a diamond membership and study.

guys for telling me this imma incorporate what u guys said.

However, I do classes and I am intermediate level and I do endgame tactics, but I never see myself in a position when I play to use those tactics. But ill play long games

actually you can play a lot with bots first, especially the easier ones.

Lots of jerks out there, but most of the advice has been good for you so far.

99.9999.% of players have to work hard at it to get good. This isn’t like video games or card and dice games. There is no luck or cheats. Only experience, research and humility will get you better.

Play bots first and DONT BE AFRAID TO LOSE! You don’t know anyone, so who cares if you lose badly? Have fun with it.

Dont spend too much time learning 30 openings. Learn one or two for each color, the more popular ones.

There are 12 or so “rules” to follow that prevent quick losses and blunders - like fighting for the center and not moving your queen out too early. Learn and follow those, then play daily or games that are more than 20 mins long.

Just from looking at some of your games, you hang pieces, and get rid of castling rights quite often. Just focus on not hanging pieces, and that should boost your rating to at least 600, and then you can start with all the other stuff.

at your level, heck even my level, endgames are rare. Focus on your middlegame mostly. Get a solid opening that you can understand and fits well into your playstyle. I recommend lichess as well. The studies on lichess are very good and can help you with openings. Don't do anything fancy yet, like the Bird. Use the giuoco piano opening, Sicilian, or something similar. Pay attention to tactics because at your level, lots of people will blunder. Tactics are essential for every level, and the ones at your level are relatively easier to find. Just do puzzles and stay consistent

Also play against bots that you can't consistently beat. Do ones that you can beat 50 or less % of the time. This will help you develop a good system for tracking how well you do. If you keep beating the same easy bot over and over again, you won't know how well you're doing, or at least not as well as trying to play against a bot you almost can never beat
