I mainly play bullet chess now. Im usually, 500-800 rating but i love the mistakes and energy. Last year i played 7,000 games of chess and won nearly 50%. Typically, i sack a game if i cant formulate a mate because thats just how i am. So, 90% of my wins are mates and not just premoving to try to ruin the timers... this year. Ive noticed i am barely mating anymore. I am sensitive to patterns so i notice how my rating is rising and lowering. Ill lose a series of games and then play someone that clearly lets me win. Or ill play real people that make odd moves and then aborts and boom. Clearly these are bot accounts. Timer issues, lag, consistent openings and denial of generic tricks, and when i test these. I often make a sacrifice that makes no sense to which a random will have premoved to that blunder. I tend to ply based on an algorithm of strategy similar to how bobby fischer played. Though im no bobby fischer, i can formulate alot of unique checkmates.

My joy for chess com has dropped the last year. Ive been on here for 14 years and they refuse to fix basic issues with the app where you cant premove if the opponent’s move is being shown. So it cancels your moves..

But now its just bots every time i play.
