Maybe he's on the lam.
International

The reason is that nobody can abuse them in their native language and abusing in english is banned here so...

This guy has it for no dicernable reason. http://www.chess.com/members/view/Computer4-IMPOSSIBLE

So can we all agree these people must be shady in general?! Find someone you know and message them and tell them to defend themselves! I'll start with that guy with no freinds.

I don´t think it is banned...How do you know?
In messages or post it is allowed but in chat it is banned. You can try it without making spelling mistakes.

Why the distinction?

Let's turn the question around. What is the point of listing your country, unless you actually represent them in OTB tournaments?
All picking a country does is allow players with preconceived notions to make assumptions about you, or help you pick a fight on the forums. There's really no upside.

Thanks for reminding me...
...and a large number of accounts choose bogus countries anyway, so it's not even that helpful to look at the country flags, never mind selecting one ;).

The possible reason may be that in live games abusing may disturb opponent's mind. But Still people are using abusive language by making a little spelling change.

Ah! Here's an actual representitive!
I would say two reasons, one so you can meet others from your country and two you have something to talk about! I'm always curious to talk to people in the middle east becasue I think the situation is often really intersesting. (just for example)
And really I dont think that is the case often, if someone does judge based on preconceived notions, they're probably not worth caring about anyway.

Well, if most people choose bogus countries, even if you choose the country you're from, how would you find people from your own country to talk with?
Besides, people who choose International might just not really like the country they're living in right now, like me, or like every single country in the word (okay, maybe that's unlikely, but still)- I'm sure everyone who has chosen international has reasons for doing so.
People who judge based on preconceptions could be xenophobes :D, and
preconceived notions don't have to be negative, so they could help the guy from country X somehow...
Besides, isn't this whole thread kind of attacking people who chose International? Isn't that discrimination?
Always been curious why someone would mark their nationality as international? I mean surely you can choose one place. Thougts?
