I wonder too. But that's okay as long as they are posting something here. Of course I want them to introduce themselves but it's their choice. Everybody is welcome here.

#107 i think generally people speak the trurh...
Yes, I am one of them. Why will you tell a lie? That's shame.
That's why I created this topic/thread 13 years ago to introduced themselves. I started to introduced myself here. It was truthful..
I was 😊
Thank you Donna for telling the truth.
@RayDuquelll So we should trust people that they introduced themselves, actually is truthful.
Not all of them but some of them yes and that's includes me. How about you @Wazir20?
Hello ! I joined in 2016, basically to learn chess when I was a kid and well, I've improved quite a lot!
Hi everyone, I'm National Master Dave Mohan. I'm an avid chess player, giraffe enthusiast, and full-time college student at the University of Notre Dame. I'm proud to say that I'm also now an amateur streamer!
If you're interested, please feel free to follow me on Youtube and Twitch! I just uploaded a video of me playing 10+0 games with live commentary and analysis (Here’s the link: https://youtu.be/O1kOYk3FnPw). Hopefully this helps improve your game! Every subscription means a lot to me, so if you subscribe, I’ll really appreciate it.

... giraffe enthusiast...
Yes haha. Once upon a time I fell down a rabbithole and learned pretty much everything the Internet has to offer about giraffes. They are such unique animals lol.
this thread is older than me
@jchess161, this thread started in 2007, it was 13 years ago.

So he’s younger than 13. Is that such a big deal?
#122 That is all truth about me whatever i told before... just i didn't tell my real name there, bcoz i want people know me through my username... i'm a lawyer from India.
Okay @Wazir20, no problem there. For me, I want to tell them my true name here, in social media, all chess sites, internet. Just in case they want to visit me there.
Greetings fellow chess players
My nickname is draw_champion. After playing chess for several years I believe the beauty of chess lies not in the checkmate, but in the draw. My goal when playing chess is simple: If the game does not end in draw, I have failed. A draw signifies both skill (more so than a win, which does not require stalemate calculation) and sportsmanship, as neither player is forced to walk away with a loss. My favorite player at the moment is GM Anish Giri, whose playing style I greatly admire.
Good luck with your chess, all, and feel free to shoot me a PM for any advice!
