How do I turn on notifications that it is my turn? I like playing 3Day chess games but always have to open app to see if it is my move. Is there a way to get a notification when it’s my move?

The iPhone notifications have to be enabled through the iPhone's Settings app in addition to the chess.com settings.

Settings (app) > Chess > Notifications

It seems the app lacks an option to permit ios notifications via the settings menu. You can only permit it on start after the app installation.

You can set the iPhone notifications with the iPhone settings app:

Settings > Apps > Chess > Notifications

@manekapa This method only works, if notifications were permitted on first start after the app installation. The iOS Notification menu you are referring to is missing when permission was not granted on first app start. See screenshot below as proof. The only way to recover from this is a fresh installation and granting the permission when prompted after app start.

I have the same issue, no notifications at all. The thing is I do see the options in ios settings and have it enabled, both in the system and in the chess app, and still I dont get notifications.

I have reinstalled the app 6-7 times already without improvement. How many more times should I try?

I dont understand why so many people have the same problem over and over and chess.com does not fix it.
