Chess is just a bloody game, and an abstract one that doesn't encapsulate social conditions. You can't save the world by mending chess or any other freaking thing. Go do something useful. What I like about chess is when people give their prawns away. I send the queen in to collect them all up. Then she makes me a nice prawn cocktail, cos you know cooking and stuff is women’s work. Then being king I sit around scoffing my face while she cleans the castles
