Looks like it. Go into the settings and turn off the various items. Also uncheck "show lines."

Minimum engine lines is 1. No matter what i do, the engine is working in the background. Also on my TV, the piece animation is broken.

Alright, finally i have found the solution to my problem.

Instead of going to chess.com/analysis i needed to go to chess.com/live and choose Live Analysis from the drop-down. This gives me an analysis board where i can turn the engine off.
