Is there any way to reset your live chess ratings?

OR you could forget about the ratings for a while and just play chess and it'll even out over time.
My ratings are all butchered because I played a lot of games when I was new to chess and still very bad. I wish I could start over because it would take a long time to get my ratings all up to just 1200 even if I win all my games. If I'm wrong about being better than my ratings show, then I'll just drop back down anyway, so, really, I don't see why I shouldn't be able to just reset them. I think there should at least be a one-time reset (like with username changes) for players like me who join the site as beginners.
