If you plan to use this in real games against other people then I think it clearly is cheating. You should do everything like noticing attackers or hanging pieces in your head.
Is using extensions downloaded from google chrome store fair or not?

Recently i downloaded a chrome extension from chrome store, called [removed -- MS] , it just helps me to understand the board clearly and to think about the next attack, the extension link is here [removed] , but i am concerned, is it fair? i mean will i get banned. i think it will be fair as it is available in chrome extension store . Use of an extension like that in games against other members is against the fair play policy and will get an account using it closed.

https://www.chess.com/chesscom-artifacts/packages/@chesscom/play-client/113.0.0/play-monitor-browser-extensions.chunk.client.8358b943.jsThey do, but it's quite easy to reverse engineer. It would be better if they used their WSS game connection with proper encryption, though it's still better than nothing.

Any extension that helps you or tells you what the best moves are is clearly prohibited in the fair play policy.
