Indeed BatGirl that is even more strange and is also something I have never had an issue with at all. Matter of fact it is up there faster then I can type and watch what I have typed. I'll have to look into issues that may be causing this. I will see if a can duplicate it on one of my slower computers running XP still. My current computer has 16 megs of memory and a fast quad core processor. While the XP has only 2 meg of memory and a dual core processor. I'm not sure if the computer itself could be part of the cause. I'll get back to everybody on what I find if there is a difference between computer speed and cache memory affecting the typing speed. Just seems so weird to me ??

V2 had a good graphic for it. In V3 you can't see nor a lion neither a heart.
That's why at first sight I thought there had some kind of sabotage within this V3.

btw Marco - I do have to agree re. the graphics of the "Heart of a Lion" trophy - one of my favorites and a great discovery since I received it from...

They should get that dentist on the news some months back to hunt a lion, then take a picture of himself holding the heart and use that as the trophy. Just suggestin'

Yes, V3 is better for live chess, but V2 is good too - I play live in both.
But V2 is better for navigation, foruns and other stuff.
About foruns, V3 has a nice improvement: you can embed youtube videos in posts - this does not have in V2.

I have tried everything and can not duplicate the slow typing issue even on a much slower computer and running XP instead of Win 10. If anybody is have problems with slow typing Please contact support at https://support.chess.com/customer/portal/emails/new

I actually had it happen on a different computer earlier today but it wasn't super slow, just a little stuttering. Will try and test again later.

Some of us were learning how a copypaste works not so long ago...
2 reasons why v3 is better than v2:
1. There are chess variants.
V3: It is easy to play Crazyhouse on the computer instead of a real chess board.
V2: It does not have the chess variants and in Crazyhouse, it is possible to get 3 bishops without promoting. A real chess set only has 2 bishops.
2. The images went through the background.
V3: The images will only be in the White Space and never come out of it.
V2: If your image is too big, it will go through the inner background.
