Suppose they don't want you to know you can connect an engine in real time.

O yes! There is tome cheating, not just time delay due to internet, for example my opponent has only one second ramainig,  but in the next move sudenly has 10 second.

What is that?

Very simple tome cheating

Very disappointed !!

For this to persist, chess.com must be in on it.  It's a conspiracy against YOU.

I have been playing a few games day over the past year, and I do come across time cheating apps . In some cases, the opponent can make over 10 moves a second in final seconds of game and win by time out. Other cases I have seen time added to the opponent timer, or time deducted from my timer. I think cheat apps are tested on chess.com random matches, before being used in competitive game.

Premoves only take .1 second, so 10 moves are possible.

But the server holds the official clocks. In order to modify clocks, someone would need full admin access to the server, which isn't happening. When you see time added it's either increments or lag and lag compensation:

I completely disagree I have timed my games with a physical clock there is something wrong with the chess.com clock. It random but it is wrong!

You can't measure the lag between you and the site or small disconnects from the live server that also use time from your clock, if they are more than the allowed lag.

many times in my 5-minute games, my time gets eaten up while my opponent's clock doesn't run. And when it does, i'm already way , way down on my time by 10 seconds. and also. there were several times when i was way ahead with my time advantage, then miracle of miracles, my time runs out all of a sudden and i lose. connectivity issue, huh?

Sounds like you're having connection issues

there seems to be a time cheat !!

There seems to be a way to slow down or impede moves of your opponent!

the square one wishes to move to is impossible to access (impossible to activate the circle) during The last move(s) in the last seconds!

I've had this happen with enough time to try several times to move. The circle will simply not lightup!

I tested it on my last games , its not a mouse or cursor error

Maybe because it would be an illegal move?
