No, not within chess.com's web site. You would have to copy the messages offsite and store them externally.

They should sort messages like hotmail does.
You can sort them by the person who sent it, or date sent.

Read/Unread
Or you can use the right side search, enter a username and any/all messages that person has sent you should appear.
As a basic member though your messages only get saved 30 days.

Oh, so the only way to keep the contents is to copy them and paste them somewhere outside chess.com. Maybe a folder system could be developed allowing members to keep important messages.

Or ... you could REPLY to the messages you want to keep - but send them to YOURSELF.
(Remember to do this every 89 days - if you are a premium member.)
