yeah, that would be great if somebody can get it together. Its fantastic to see other people our age playing chess.
there is a kids only tournament that exicts. it is the First junior chess tourney
maybe"The Really Old Peoples" would be the best name for it.

O.K. I listed all the possible names right here and I think the most suitable name would be The Minor Masters:
- diaper dandies
- The Really Old Peoples
- The Passed Pawns
- Minor Masters
- Chess Kids
- Teen Team
- Kid Kings
- The Minor Chess Club
- Chess Fanatics
I'll probably get add to make the group and you should be able to find it pretty soon in the groups list. 
I think this will be our avatar unless anyone else would like to make a custom one or find a beeter one for minor masters:

Anyways, The Minor Chess Club should be good. People (plus me =P) seem to like it!

Seriously, considering that this whole forum is specifically about children, I don't think that whether you post your age or not will really make such a tremendous difference. Just click on the profiles and there are the children's ages and other information which I can assure everyone I DO NOT *ahem, cough, cough* look at closely. =P
i disagree doc, without their ages you would not know which profiles to check out.
i think patzer24's warning is a timely reminder of some of the nastier elements on the net (and yes even including some chess players). I do hope that this gathering together of our younger members is being carefully monitored.
having said that it is good to see young players being encouraged.
