Kind Of Rude Bro

What is truly disrespectful is to not resign when you have completely lost. How someone decides to win is entirely up to themselves. A win is a win, a lose can be salty or it can be in grace. Prolonging a game that you have completely lost is disrespectful to your opponent. He has a queen and you have nothing? Resign. I intentionally refuse to checkmate my opponent if they won't resign, and rather prolong the games for as many moves as possible. If it takes 500 moves to prove you are a salty loser then so be it. I've won and you can either accept the loss or let me rub it in like the salty loser you are.

And some people at low ratings might not be able to Checkmate with just one queen so they get multiple to secure the win which is understandable

People not resigning is more rude to me, if someone promotes all their pawns to queens even if it is unnecessary, it is their decision because the opponent doesn't resign. I often promote all my pawns into rooks, sacrifice all my rooks except 1, and then checkmate with my single rook. That's my behaviour, it is my decision. If they don't resign and want to waste my time, I waste their time back by delaying checkmate by 400 moves.

As I said, it is their decision, so if you don't resign, it's your fault. Many players do those stuff, even at high elo, so if you find that annoying for some reason, just resign and move on to the next game. I don't really get why you would find it annoying, if you don't resign. If someone doesn't resign and wants to waste my time, I waste their time back by delaying checkmate by 400 moves.

in school, the rule is … always win with as many Queens as possible. it makes it look like you completely dominated your opponent and therefore must be an immensely better player.
the spectators be like …..”wawwwww your man’s got 5 Queens!!!”
