I'd still consider myself new to chess, consider this a blog post of some sorts and warm hello to the community.
Chess has been a great way for me to focus on self improvement, I know it may seem a little cringe but thinking of slipping up on breaking a bad habit (or setting a new one) as just a blunder, and "the game isn't over" has helped me break some bad habits.
I try to get 7-8hrs of sleep and exercise every morning so my mind is fresh and ready to focus on a few games.
