Live Chess - Less lag, better connection?

Hello!

Today we made a really important change to live chess. You won't SEE anything different, but does it feel faster? Do you notice less lag, fewer disconnects, etc? 

I'm really anxious to get your feedback - especially from people who have had problems with Live Chess in the past.

Good. :) Absolutely no disconnections so far.

If it reconnects, and it does about onces in 3 hours with my connection, you can just go on like nothing happened. Thats realy an advantage!

Well, I don't really get dc'd that often :D so keep up the great work!

I played a couple of games, it felt good, felt fast.  For me, disconnections are a rarity anyways, so I didn't notice anything there.  

Live Chess is so much faster, making it easier to watch other games, chat with an opponent, and view Challenges. The fonts are much nicer in main chat, which also is working without lag. It's helpful that clicking on Players, Games, Stats, or Settings now brings up a new browser window, eliminating the exit from and re-entry to Live Chess. No disconnections, though one opponent d/c'd but I think he ran.

Great progress overall. Here's a toast to long-term stability!

Down the road wish-list: a Tourney tab for Live Blitz tournaments, with individual and team formats.

yep! once we're stable, the features will all return and we'll do more! :D

The mod tools are much more responsive, and the stability of the connection seems to have improved tenfold. I have personally had no problems with it whatsoever:)

I did get disconnected the minute I was going to do the survey the first time, but nothing is ever 100% perfect.  

Overall its pretty awesome!

I always have problems when I play LIVE chess. I need to test it out.

Reliable and smooth. Though if I bump up my toast.net accelerator all the way it will not let me load Live Chess. I have to keep it at medium acceleration.

Of course my dialup is running at 26KiloBitesPerSec. Download speed is 30KiloBitesPerSec

if you can play on a dialup, then i am pleased!

yeah, theriverman, I finds that when I puts on me toaster it often trip the circuit to me comp - me eats plain sandwiches when me is online

The tactics trainer is not working properly.  It does not subtract points for failed problems.

Um i can play quite smoothly now on my mobile broadband connection. Now. Which i might add is completely useless. :( But it is fantastic now. :) YAY!
