None taken. I sound exactly like an American. Laughing

Those are high prices. It is incredible how much these companies charge. Here, in the land of smiles, I pay about $20 a month for ADSL with no metering. (I assume the values 4Gb and 50Gb are metering)

Yeah, that the data limit. Some companies slow speeds after that, some will charge higher rates for the extra usage.

Online chess allows more time to think. Some days I can't commit enough time to play live chess.

princetonlion

I have a bad habit of not thinking while playing online :P

cfvb

Live chess

Because in online chess most of the times you are playing with strong engines!

I play Online because it allows me to focus on the middle and endgame.  The opening is handled thru Explorer.

I played one game live as white, and the opponent played some offbeat opening that I had no idea what was going on.  I did not even get thru the opening to the middlegame.  That was my one and only live game.

Well you will never know what's going on in openings if you never play them by yourself. You should learn at least 2 openings from either side. Not to mention that you are allowed to use explorer just as much in live or online, which is not at all. It is against the rules I think.

Murgen

You can't access Explorer during live games, but you can during online ones.

cfvb

explorer sucks then

SweetGirlRachel

I like more of live
