Hello chess community,

Im feeling a bit upset and annoyed with myself lately.

I seem to have hit my ceiling! ya im not even 1200 either

I seem to get better in spurts but then soon after i cant progress, i make silly blunders, miss tactics or other silly mistakes after jumpin in rating and noticing im fter getting better!

Anybody else notice this about their own game and does anybody have any thouhts and how to get back on track again.

Any help much appreciated

You have actually made a lot of progress over the last year. Don't let a few losses get you down.

Look at this graph of your rating over the last year:

Your rating is close to its high point.

You are probably just noticing more blunders now than you used to. That is a good thing.

Jeez thankyou notmtwain !!

Your very kind and honestly, you actully hve cheered me up, when i look at the graph your actually right, nd i guess noticing all the blunders i make is a good thing, i nearly notice a second after ive played the move !

Thanks notmtwain much appreciaated, maybe i just need to stop rushing to avoid blunders id say

Poryg

yes, don't rush and instead double check. Even in forced lines I check for blunders.
