Message but no message

So I get an email saying I have a new message. I go to check it out, but no message. Then I notice on the sidebar that there is a new message, but I go to click it and it says the message cannot be found.

The message was from daniel_montbar, but I cannot read it.

Any idea what is going on?

Why don't you send him a message?

I did. Haven't seen a response yet.

Now I get an email letting me know that someone placed a note for me, but I log in and there is nothing to be read.

              The Ooooold message/ no message trick.  10 minutes from now, you'll get a follow up message saying,  "Make you look"   Actually you DID get a message from the lottery commission.  "Congratulations, you've won $300 million dollars, but you must answer THIS message in the next 5 mins to claim your money"

I was writing after I saw a thread regarding chess buddies and training and analising together: you had a post there, and I am interested in all these aiming improving chess skills

He is really good. He shows up as the last replier to this thread even though i see no post here. I find this rather amusing :)

           He may have been muted for whatever reason. In which case anything he tries to post will not show up anywhere.

Okay, that makes sense. I was pretty impressed that he could game the forum post system.

EricFleet, if I may say: I wanted to be a chess friend with you, or a training buddy for chess improving; I saw you in a thread regarding this aspect and I tried to ask your opinion.I am still trying now; if you find it proper I'd like to find a way to do that. I am looking forward waiting your answer, because you are more experienced than me! Thanks.
