Modified alerts?

I wonder if there's room for modification of the alert system on Chess.com. Normally it's very helpful, but there are times when it becomes a nuissance.
I had a five minute run today when I was playing several games simultaneously. When things started to slow down I decided to check e-mail, only to find that I had 21 "your move" messages! I suppose I could turn off alerts whenever I sign on and turn them back on before logging out, but that seems a bit tedious.
Any chance that we can opt to receive alerts only when we're not logged in?
