I see the letters come out,but they are invisable as I type them. Same is the case when I try to send pmessagess to other members. I tried doing that yestrrday after the fix, and again this morning, and the lettes do noremare invisible as I type them.
There is no probme with I IM within a grame screen. Also, When I type in the subject line of a message, that comes out. The problem only seems to be when I type in the text portion of messages, and as now, ehn I type comments on forum threads. I guess this will also become visible when I press submit again.

see the thread regarding solving all your problems, here. You might also need to do it in a window like the emoticons popup, to use those.
Thanks for the suggestion, Steven, and the link; but I just tried it, and the letters are still invisinble. I just typed CONTROL + r while the cursor is in this text window. Didn't work; the text is still invisible as I am typing this. I guess it will again become visible after I press submit again.
Yep; looks like it didn't solve the problem. Thank you very much for the suggestion, though. :-)
ctrl-f5 i guess, if you're using Internet explorer
I wonder if pressing the CONTROL + r button, and then rebooting the computer might help. I will try that, and see if it works.

Ah, that did it!! Thanks Steve! I use AOL; it has a built in browser. I guess it uses Internet Explorer. Anyway, that worked! Thanks again!!

Soooooooo....... that explains all the bug reports I've been sending for not being able to use the editing tools.
For some inexplicable reason, the problem seems to have resolved itself.
