New Features & Fixes - Nov 18 2008

We released some new code tonight. Here is the list:

• added min/max ratings to team matches
• team matches can "unready" and "abort"
• you can reset your chess mentor progress on your Chess Mentor settings page
• improved group/tournament invite process
• database stability improvements
  
• and most importantly, the ground work for some really amazing features that we haven't announced yet :)
  

Tomorrow we will update Live Chess with some changes that will hopefully solve some stability issues. We will be removing the ROOMS and PLAYERS tabs. We know it stinks to remove the PLAYERS tab, but we plan on bringing it back soon. But it causes a massively disproportionate amount of stress on the Live Chess system (due to all of the constant updates).

Tonight was a small release, but there are big things coming.

Is there a chance that a way of viewing all of your vote chess games (Current and waiting) in a simple list is on the way?

Looks like you deleted some of the empty upcoming tournamnets as well.

Erik can't you just have the server post who is on Live Chess onto an html page and have members go to that page on their own manual labor by hitting refresh on their browser?  That way it stays off Live Chess itself and would mirror to an extent the current member directory: Members-> Search Members but be exclsuive to those on Live Chess and not limit the number of members posted on  it, heck let the system post the members in a text list without their profile pics.

Can you add rating to players when you are looking in your group players because it's very hard to make a list of players in order of rating. Especially in groups with over 100 members.
