I've posted this before, but I have to take one more shot at it, because it's ruining this site for me.
There seems to be a new form of sandbagging, and I'm seeing it in half my games at least, where the other person will not let their clock go below the 15 minute mark in 15/10 games. It's not as obvious as just quitting the game right before a winning move, but it is very much rating manipulation. I did not sign up to play a game of speed chess against someone much much better than me, playing that way is very different than a normal game, and if that's the time controls they want then they should just go play with those time controls. They are guaranteeing themselves games against lower rated players by playing badly on purpose.
I don't mind people playing less than ideally if they are experimenting with new openings or something, but that's not what this is. It's just a way to make sure your opponents are less experienced and knowledgeable than you are in a game type they didn't sign up for.
