New warning banner

In the last 24hrs I have noticed a warning banner about cheating which appears when I start a new game. Initially I thought that it was simply something that chess.com have introduced when players start a new game. But I then chose to play a 10min game (I have always previously played only 30min & 15min). The shorter time control had a bad effect on me and I lost that game. So the next game I decided to go back to 15min. But there was no banner this time! So now I am getting paranoid that I am being singled out. When does the warning banner appear? Briefly it said no engines, friends helping, books etc.

I feel totally spooked by this.

If you want to confess, send it directly to support@chess.com.

It will save time.

For goodness sake, if you aren't doing anything, you have nothing to worry about. No one is singling you out.

They are simply reminding people to play fairly.

It's gotten out of hand. I play 10/0 Arena tournaments on most weekends and there seems to be a few 98% players in every one. It's probably a general warning because they're growing weary of banning people then they bring up the excuse they didn't know. They're looking for people winning every game with a preposterous percentage. You're fine.

I have every reason to be worried, because (a) if it was a general warning then there would have been lots of replies to my post from people who are also getting the banner - but there aren't so I figure that it is not for everybody. (b) the banner appeared after I just won five games in a row. Note: my longest winning streak is 6 games and my longest losing streak is 4 games. I am worried because chess.com might be viewing a streak of 5 winning games as suspicious. This has now resulted in me being scared to win. I am very fragile.

I still think it's in the percentage. I've seen winners of Arena tournaments have their accounts banned for scoring 98% every game. You make mistakes according to the engine. Players who get banned are making rook sacrifices for positional results and precisely executing the 5-8 move follow ups. You play a good game, but it's not supernatural for a 1300 player playing 15 minute games. Also, they were banned before dawn the next day after the tournament.

I won a game again a 1647 opponent a few days ago on lichess a few moves after making a positional rook sacrifice. That had to be my best game to date. Now you have really got me worried.
