How can chess.com consider its structuring reasonable, when it allows the one message, see below (which is rude and unjust) to be left on my inbox - and my reply (also below) to be disallowed from an airing - by the way, I am prepared to answer with my usual wit - the usual suspects and their level of ignorant trolling and even racist and sexist language, which chess.com also allows, without any means of redress.

Could you please explain the meaning of your message left on my feed saying [please don't repeat offensive language]

It is untrue and unpleasant - as far as I can see I played you once recently - a one minute game - beating you on time - and so close to mate, that I felt agreived to have the clock run out before mating you. To further elucidate, you let me remove your white queen on my fifth move. Obviously you were easy to beat after that - you could have resigned. Please either explain, or apologise for the comments italicised above. or I will take this message to the open forums and you can either explain your rude and unjust comment - or not - in the full glare of objective public view. yrs WIKIPAWN

V3 ought to allow 1 response for any message left, just to combat those kinds of things. They happen all the time.

  • You wanna block someone, then block them.
  • You wanna leave a message and block them? They get to respond.

I think I will discontinue this thread, having belatedly worked out how to get a message back to those rude types who insult and block a response.

Their achilles heel is there vaninty - so now I just give them a trophy with message attached.

in the case of [name removed] - who by the way is a woman claiming to be a doctor. The whole of my first comment above went to her with a 'safe trip' trophy.

thank you zBorris - I concur.

Thanks!
