But that's a lot of work. I want a setting to remove deleted posts from my notifications. Beacuse the titles.... are very............ and I don't even want to see those titles in my notifications.......

There are likely tens of millions, or maybe hundreds of millions, of notifications in the system at any one point. It would be very resource intensive to clear the queues of every notification of every piece of content that has subsequently been removed.
