Overnight 150 point score increase?

I'm not sure if this happened to anyone else, but my standard score somehow increased from 997 to 1148 (151 points) overnight without me having played any games. Now as much as I like having a higher score (and I've been winning at this score too), I don't think it's fair that my score shot up like this and I'm not sure why it happened. Can anyone explain this? I'd rather work my score up fairly than get 150 giveaway points.

Chess.com probably thought you were too good for your rating and decided to increase it.

same thing happened with me and my score went up from arnd 1200 to 1382..i was shocked and happy obviously....but seems like they have done some improvement over their rating system and it count sm past games maybe..or for the year..maybe
