Pausing an game?

I know of programs that allows you to reinstate games lost on time, and where you can give your opponent a another minute in blitz, but chess.com don't have them... yet!

Is there a way to pause a game without going on vaccation? Like in case you're opponant doesn't have time to make a move and you don't want the game to end.
