500s ratings need to stop playing chess to imo.

Or, like veryverystern said (I'm not sure), the 500s rating player is not allowed to post in the forum.

Ehh, I don't know about that. I think if you're still below 500 after a few months, you're obviously not even trying. (And if you are, chess is clearly not for you.) But I've seen things happen before.

Guys nahiplaychess3 is my friend and he is not serious with this one. He wrote this forum to get the achievment.

I'll prove you wrong. I know it wasn't "below 300", but my rapid was at a low of 337 last September, and is now 1157. My blitz was only 102 for a short time, but now I am nearing 1000 in that. People who are that low should not quit chess because, given they study and practice, they will improve. That's my view at least.

I know your not serious, but I had a low of 377(close enough to 300) and am now at 1570 with a peak of 1686

Instead of playing chess Gate-keepers ought to have a game of their own, where they score points by preventing other people from playing.
Prove me wrong.

Back in the days, before the Internet, when one wanted to switch from woodpusher to actual chess player, the only option there was, was to join a chess club (affiliated to a chess federation), play official competitions, and, basically, lose all their games during a year (more or less).
And so, after two Rapid tournaments, my very first rating was about 1500. I kept playing Rapid only for two years, then tried classical chess, and so, my first slow games rating was 1700.
Now, when all can play 3000 games a year (or more) instead of the tedious 50-100 games we could play back then, have got access to engines,, lessons and all, thousands still get stucked in rating ranges that would have let them unrated in real life.
It's all to easy, for one thing, and players don't appreciate what they have got.
But an other problem, is that one is paired with other clown players who seem to throw a dice when they play a move, instead of looking carefully at the position.
So, rated U300 should quit chess? Nay, they should begin to understand how it works. All the chess, the training, the studies, etc. They should begin to understand it's not Monopoly nor is it Cluedo, but a proper sport.
So everyone at 301 ELO would be at the bottom, gradually reducing them to 300 ELO and elimination, until everyone is 300 ELO and banned from chess forever?
