Consider changing your profile picture to something less likely to invite unwanted attention. It could be something related to chess, your favorite chess piece or a generic image.

Nothing is wrong with living there; but given its population I doubt many people on chess.com are living there, especially since most don't even live on the same continent.
Since the OP's profile says they are from Telford, anyone "hitting on" them would have to travel to get there if they wanted to meet: which is a bit much for someone who you literally know nothing about except a vague profile picture.
