How To Embed Chess Games into Forum

Sort:

Guys,

Excuse my ignorance but I am still unsure as to how to embed a chess game/board into the forums. Can someone help please? I have downloaded and installed a PGN reader, but can't get the actual game with all of the moves to embed.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

I just click on the chessboard above where I'm typing and follow the instructions.  Still, there are some previous threads...https://www.chess.com/forum/search?keyword=how+to+post+a+diagram

Well best of luck.  I can't do it either...LOL

You did good baddogno. Your game post seems OK. It was a short ten-move game.

Oh my....surprise.png Thanks manekapa; you are of course correct...sigh...
Anyhow except for being careful when copying the PGN file (Ctrl c) and pasting it (Ctrl v), it's pretty straightforward.  Have fun!

You have to connect with a web browser (not an app).

To embed a chess game into a forum, you'll generally need to use the forum's built-in tools or a method that allows embedding of external content, such as an iframe. Many chess websites like Chess.com and Lichess.org provide options to generate embed code or links that can be placed within the forum post.
