We're really big into ice hockey here and skating in general. Telford Tigers hockey team has been and is regarded up there as best in the country along with Nottingham.
Telford a REALLY nice town. Having a premiership football team isn't the measure of how successful a town is just usually how big it is. There's some sithole in the UK with good football teams.

So now you're absolving yourself by making a post about how, secretly, and for years, this isn't what you wanted... ok, makes sense.
Ever heard of being mildly annoyed and then finally snapping? Or assuming people are sending you friend requests because they had a fun time playing with you? This is a chess site, you would expect friend requests to be sent because people enjoy chess games with eachother. And OP most likely blocks them, so they were a mild annoyance until eventually OP didn't want to have to keep repeating the process every time he was disappointed that his new friend wasn't interested in chess but is just so desperate for women that they use chess.com as a dating site.
